John Curran is professional drum tutor, composer and producer with over 20 years of performing and teaching experience based in Heaton Norris, Stockport.

He has released a number of albums and toured extensively across UK & Europe.

John studied at The University of Salford receiving a 1st in Composition & performance. A student of drumming legend Dave Hassel.

Passionate about teaching and passing on his knowledge, John offers lessons for beginner and advanced players.

​

He was a 100% pass rate with The Rock School curriculum examination board.

​

Trained in all styles from Rock to Jazz. Lessons are focused on time keeping, technique, grooves, music theory reading, Recording techniques, playing along with music and most of all having fun.
